Surin Beach, Kata Beach e Karon Beach…
Surin Beach, la più bella del reame. Sabbia soffice e dorata, acqua cristallina. A circa 15 km a nord di Patong, tra la spiaggia di Kamala e quella di Bang Tao. Fiancheggiata da alberi e palme, tanti piccoli ristoranti di pesce e cucina thai. Perfetta per gli amanti del surf, soprattutto durante l’alta marea!
Kata Beach, seconda classificata. Posizionata a sud-ovest di Phuket. Una spiaggia tropicale con un mare bello-bello-bellissimo. Kata è la sorella maggiore di Kata Noi, è di sabbia fine, con un fondale digradante – perfetto per nuotare – e contornata da palme di cocco.
Karon Beach, terza sul podio. Dal colore dorato e dalla sabbia talmente fine e vellutata che i thailandesi la chiamano la spiaggia dalla sabbia che canta. Raramente è affollata e quasi sempre si riesce a trovare un angolino tranquillo, anche in alta stagione. E’ la soluzione ideale per chi – di giorno – cerca il relax, ma la sera vuole un pò di sana movida notturna. Una delle traverse del lungomare conduce ad una piccola comunità di artisti con pittori e scultori, pub e piccole gallerie d’arte.

Surin Beach, Kata Beach and Karon Beach…
Surin Beach, the most beautiful in the realm. Soft and golden sand, crystal clear water. About 15 km north of Patong, between Kamala beach and Bang Tao beach. Lined with trees and palm trees, many small fish restaurants and Thai cuisine. Perfect for surf lovers, especially during high tide!
Kata Beach, second place. Located south-west of Phuket. A tropical beach with a beautiful sea. Kata is the elder sister of Kata Noi, is of fine sand, with a sloping bottom – perfect for swimming – and surrounded by coconut palms.
Karon Beach, third on the podium. From the golden color and from the sand so fine and velvety that the Thais call it the beach from the sand that sings. It is rarely crowded and you can almost always find a quiet corner, even in high season. It is the ideal solution for those who – during the day – seek relaxation, but in the evening want a bit of healthy nightlife. One of the seafront crosses leads to a small community of artists with painters and sculptors, pubs and small art galleries.
