Marina Abramović – THE CLEANER

Iniziamo subito con i fuochi d’artificio. Marina Abramović è a Palazzo Strozzi fino al 20 gennaio 2019. Controversa personalità dell’arte contemporanea che con le sue opere ha rivoluzionato l’idea di performance mettendo alla prova il proprio corpo oltre i suoi limiti.

The Cleaner sarà una straordinaria retrospettiva con oltre 100 opere. Offrirà una panoramica sui lavori più famosi dell’artista dagli anni Settanta agli anni Duemila. Video, fotografie, dipinti, oggetti, installazioni e la riesecuzione dal vivo di sue celebri performance attraverso un gruppo di performer specificatamente formati e selezionati in occasione della mostra.

MUSEO DEL NOVECENTO: LE MOSTRE IN CORSO

Nei corridoi del primo piano c’è lei: Benedetta Tagliabue dello studio EMBT di Barcellona.  Il progetto ideato da Sergio Risaliti, in collaborazione con Tommaso Sacchi e a cura di Laura Andreini fa parte di un ciclo che ha già visto protagonisti come Mario Cucinella e Gianluca Peluffo. Altro giro – altra corsa. PIERO MANZONI FINALMENTE A FIRENZE. Si, ogni tanto qualcuno ha portato uno e due pezzi a Firenze, ma questo è il primo progetto monografico su Piero Manzoni in uno spazio museale fiorentino. Al Museo del Novecento vedrete la serie Achromes, le Linee, i Corpi d’aria, la celeberrima Merda d’artista e molte altre opere iconiche della sua produzione. In più nel percorso espositivo c’è un’appendice della mostra del 1963 Monocromo nella Galleria Il Fiore di Firenze, l’ultima sua apparizione italiana prima della prematura scomparsa il 6 Febbraio dello stesso anno.

Torna la prima Domenica gratuita al museo. Io con l’occasione ho deciso di (ri)visitare un luogo che amo da sempre: Palazzo Pitti e Giardino di Boboli. MERCATO DELLE PULCI – Piazza Ghiberti| 28 Ottobre

Ogni quarta domenica del mese in Piazza Ghiberti e negli spazi del Mercato di Sant’Ambrogio trovate libri, scatoline, macchine fotografiche e vestiti vintage. Amate i piccoli mercatini delle pulci? Beh, questo è il posto che fa per voi. Visto che ci siete fermatevi per un caffè e un pezzo di torta al Cibreo. Tavolino fuori, ovviamente.

Beh, che dire… il Tepidario del Roster è sempre affascinante ma in questa occasione ancora di più. L’ingresso è gratuito, come ogni anno, e l’occasione di camminare tra le meravigliose piante esposte è imperdibile. Dalle orchidee alle piante grasse.

Florence Tattoo Convention – 

Fortezza da Basso | dal 5 al 7 Ottobre

L’11esima edizione della Florence Tatto Convention torna alla Fortezza da Basso. Tre giorni di full immersion nel tempio dei tatuaggi. Da sempre questa occasione si propone di promuovere la cultura artistica e storica del tatuaggio esaltando il lavoro dei maestri tatuatori tradizionali, provenienti dalle più svariate parti del mondo, che si impegnano a tramandare quelle che sono le radici di questa antica arte.

Oltre 350 tatuatori di fama internazionale: Stizzo, Marco Galdo, Antikorpo, Genziana, Andreoli, Gippi Rondinella e Fercioni, Billi Murran, e internazionale, il neozelandese Steve Butcher, Marco Cerretelli e Alessio Ricci dalla California, Robert Hernandez dalla Spagna, il polacco Victor Portugal, Randy Engelhard dalla Germania, Kostas Tzikalagias dalla Grecia, i leggendari Hanky Panky e Bill Loika dall’Olanda, il giapponese koji Yamaguchi solo per citarne alcuni.

Marina Abramović – THE CLEANER

Let’s start immediately with the fireworks. Marina Abramović is at Palazzo Strozzi until 20 January 2019. Controversial personality of contemporary art that with his works has revolutionized the idea of performance by testing his body beyond its limits.

The Cleaner will be an extraordinary retrospective with over 100 works. It will offer an overview of the most famous works of the artist from the seventies to the 2000s. Videos, photographs, paintings, objects, installations and the live re-enactment of his famous performances through a group of performers specifically trained and selected for the exhibition.

MUSEUM OF THE NOVECENTO: THE EXHIBITIONS IN PROGRESS

In the corridors of the first floor there is her: Benedetta Tagliabue from the EMBT studio in Barcelona. Another round – another race. PIERO MANZONI FINALLY IN FLORENCE. Yes, sometimes someone brought one and two pieces to Florence, but this is the first monographic project on Piero Manzoni in a Florentine museum space. At the Museo del Novecento you will see the Achromes series, the Lines, the Air Corps, the famous artist’s Shit and many other iconic works of his production. In addition to the exhibition there is an appendix of the 1963 Monochrome exhibition in the Galleria Il Fiore in Florence, the last Italian appearance before the untimely death on 6 February of the same year.

Back to the first free Sunday at the museum. With the occasion I decided to (re)visit a place that I have always loved: Palazzo Pitti and Boboli Gardens.
